- 1:49 p.m. Officers received a complaint about harassment. A report was generated.
Thursday, April 4
- 1:20 a.m. Officers arrested a driver for DUI.
- 9:59 a.m. Officers received a fraud report.
- 7:01 p.m. An animal complaint was filed with Brookings PD. A female reported that her dog was attacked while she was walking it down an alley. The attacking dog was located and impounded. The incident is still under investigation.
- 7:30 p.m. Brookings police assisted the South Dakota Highway Patrol on a traffic stop
- 8:23 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a possible protection order violation.
- 8:27 p.m. An officer responded to the 100 block of West 8th Street South, for the report of a stolen vehicle/unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
- 10:25 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the report of an individual attempting to enter a motor vehicle.
- 10:43 p.m. BPD officers arrested an individual for a parole violation.
Friday, April 5

- 11:32 a.m. Officers were made aware of a juvenile incident in the 300 block of 15th Avenue. An investigation is ongoing.

- 4:02 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury crash. One driver was arrested for DUI.
- 8:54 p.m. Officers were called to the Dacotah Bank Center for an intoxicated male who was being disorderly. He was later arrested.
Saturday, April 6
- 2:06 a.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
- 2:26 a.m. Officers received a phone call about a possible assault. The phone call turned out to be a hoax.
