Richard L. Soma, age 73, of Oldham, died Monday, March 18, 2024, at his daughters home near Madison under the loving care of his family and hospice care.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m., Saturday, March 23, at Oldham Lutheran Church. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Friday, at the church with a prayer service at 6 p.m., and one preceding the service at the church.
Burial will be at Oldham Lutheran Cemetery.
Rick was born June 23, 1950, at Ramona to Richard O. and Marian (Jensen) Soma, the oldest of three children.
Rick graduated from Oldham High School with the Class of 1968.
He continued his education at Dakota State College in Madison, earning his bachelors degree in education and obtained his masters degree from South Dakota State University.
