The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Elkton at the Community Center on March 10.
Maddisyn called the meeting to order, Lane led the flag pledge, and Olivia led the 4-H pledge. The roll call was, Would you rather give up pizza or tacos?
Old business discussed: Reports on Clover Care kits, and Jackrabbit Memorial Jackpot Show.
New business discussed: The aluminum can donation bin is located in the Runnings parking lot; Youth Livestock Literacy youth showing livestock must complete one of these before July 1.
YQCA Youth for the Quality Care of Animals can be completed online or there will be in-person events scheduled later; Youth Horse Literacy must be completed if showing horses before June 1.
4-H camp dates have been set and registration is open in April. Remember to try to think of some demonstration to do throughout the year (if you have been in a project for three years you must do a demonstration to get your three-year pin award).
Community service and 4-H promotion: Tie Blankets to be donated to Sleep in Heavenly Peace
The next meeting will be April 14.
