BROOKINGS Michael Walsh, professor of music at South Dakota State University, will present a recital, As Voice, With Voice, In Voice, at 7 p.m. March 3 in the Oscar Larson Performing Arts Centers Founders Recital Hall.
The program includes Fantasia on Verdis La Traviata, Three Etudes on Themes of Gershwin, I Like You, a work for clarinet and electronic sounds, as well as Cancion para un Clarinetista by Javier Zalba. Assisting with the program are faculty members Xuan Kuang, Mark Stevens and Anna DeGraff
Walsh, a clarinetist, has been selected to perform at regional, national and international conferences.
