Brookings Bobcats fall on the road to Pierre

PIERRE The Brookings Bobcats dropped a game on the road, falling to Pierre 61-39 on Tuesday night.

The Governors led 17-11 at the end of the first quarter and extended their lead to 31-16 at halftime before leading 43-25 at the end of the third quarter. The Governors used an 18-14 advantage in the fourth quarter to secure the win.

Macy Even led the Bobcats with 10 points while Tess Burns had nine points and Logan Smidt and Sloan McLagan had four points each.

Ryann Barry led Pierre with 27 points while Lennix Dupris had 14 points. Reese Terwilliger also finished in double figures with 12 points for the Governors.

The Bobcats fell to 5-12 on the season and will host Aberdeen Central on Friday night.
