Maurice Odenbrett, 78, formerly of Fulda, Minnesota, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2024, at the Brookings hospital.
Maurice Odenbrett born in Fulda, Minnesota, on April 1, 1945. Maurice married Caroline in April 1968. They raised two children on their family farm, where Maurice farmed until his retirement.
He was a South Dakota Soybean Processor Board member. He loved trains, especially the engines.
One of his many talents was woodworking.
Survivors: Wife-Caroline, daughter-Andrea (Steve Hogie), son-Luke (Rochelle). grandchildren-Anastasia (Brad), Chantel (Austin), Brittney (Noah), Noah (Ellie), Sadie (Calvin), and Olivia; great-grandchildren Jaxon and Landon (Anastasia) and Oliver (Chantel).
Funeral services are at St. Gabriels Catholic Church in Fulda on Feb. 10, at 1030 a.m. Visitation is an hour prior.
