• 12:55 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a residence for an alleged assault that had taken place. Before officers arrived the suspect fled the scene. Officers are still currently looking for the suspect.
• 1 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of harassment.
• 10:10 a.m. Brookings police officers responded to a domestic disturbance.
• 5:24 p.m. Officers took a report of a missing juvenile. An investigation is on going.
• 11:31 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. A DUI investigation took place and the driver was arrested for DUI.

Sunday, Jan. 28

12:50 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a welfare check on an intoxicated male.

• 1:08 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. A DUI investigation was started and the driver was later arrested for DUI.
• 2:11 a.m. Law enforcement took a report of a person trying to open a door at a residence.
• 5:24 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. A DUI investigation was started and the driver was later arrested for DUI.
• 4:35 p.m. Officers took a report of a non-injury crash.
• 5:34 p.m. Brookings police officers took a report of a theft.
• 7:48 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop. The driver had an active warrant for arrest and was taken into custody.
• 10:17 p.m. Law enforcement took a report of a person under the influence of a substance other than alcohol.

Monday, Jan. 29

• 2:30 p.m. A CS officer responded to an animal complaint call.
• 3:44 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a non- injury motor vehicle crash report.
• 5:28 p.m. A CS officer responded to an animal complaint call.

Tuesday, Jan. 30

• 10:45 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 700 block of Fifth Street South a DSS referral. A report was generated.
• 12:09 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle and issued a citation for a registration violation.
• 2 p.m. BPD Officers took a report for vapes being distributed to minors.
• 2:18 p.m. Officers took a Juvenile Incident report.
• 2:38 p.m. Officer Schneider was dispatched to the 1900 block of 12th Street South for a report of a fight. An investigation was made and charges are pending.
• 7:09 p.m. Brookings Police documented an incident.

• 3:07 a.m. Brookings Police conducted a welfare check.
• 11:41 a.m. Brookings Police Department received a report of an insufficient funds check.
• 1 p.m. Officers responded to a vandalism incident. A report taken.
• 6:07 p.m. Officers took a report of harassment.
