HURON The Brookings Bobcats finished in third place as they competed at the Huron Invitational on Friday night.
The Bobcats finished with a team score of 140.05 points, trailing first-place Mitchell, who had 148.400 points and second-place Watertown, who had 141.550 points. Yankton finished in fourth place with 133.300 points and Huron finished fifth with 127.650 points.
Delilah Fuls finished third in the all-around competition for the Bobcats with a total score of 36.750 points. Ava Petterson finished in seventh place with 34.100 points while Kennedy Ronning finished 12th with 32.750 points, Amber Brockberg finished 16th with 26.600 points, Lexi Norgaard finished 18th with 26.200 points, Nevaeh Strohfus finished 19th with 24.300 points, Mischa Janssen finished 27th with 15.250 points and Addison Steinhoff finished 28th with 8.450 points.
Fuls finished tied for first with Mitchells Olivia Prunty with a 9.400 score in the vault while Petterson, Ronning and Brockberg finished tied for 17th with a score of 8.550. Strohfus and Steinhoff finished tied for 20th with a score of 8.450.
Fuls finished tied for third in the uneven parallel bars with a score of 8.700 while Petterson tied for sixth place with a score of 8.600. Norgaard tied for eighth with a score of 8.350 while Janssen finished 15th with a score of 8.000, Ronning finished 17th with a score of 7.700 and Strohfus finished 20th with a score of 7.250. Mitchells Bentley Bates had the top score at 9.850.
Fuls had the Bobcats top score on the balance beam, finishing in seventh place with a score of 9.050. Brockberg finished eighth with a score of 8.800, Norgaard finished 11th with a score of 8.650 and Ronning finished 17th with a score of 32.750. Petterson finished 21st with a score of 7.950 and Janssen finished 27th with a score of 7.250. Bates had the top score at 9.850.
Norgaard had the top score for Brookings in the floor exercise at 9.200 and finished in 11th place. Fuls finished tied for 12th with a score of 9.150 while Petterson finished 16th with a score of 9.000. Strohfus finished tied for 24th with a score of 8.600 and Ronning finished 27th with a score of 8.250. Bates had the top score at 9.650.
Bates also had the top score in the all-around with a score of 38.400, followed by Prunty at 36.750.
The Bobcats will host the Brookings triangular with Harrisburg and Watertown on Monday night before the ESD State Qualifier Meet in Watertown on Saturday afternoon.
