BROOKINGS The South Dakota State football celebrated its second-straight national championship on Thursday night on campus.
Players and coaches held a meet-and-greet at Club 71 inside Dana J. Dykhouse Stadium in Brookings.
The players held an autograph session and fans were able to get photos with the national championship trophy as well. SDSU President Barry Dunn, Director of Athletics Justin Sell and head coach Jimmy Rogers also addressed the crowd.
The football team was also recognized at halftime of the SDSU mens basketball game on Thursday night.
The Jackrabbits won a school record 15 games in 2023 and beat Montana 23-3 in the national championship in Frisco, Texas, on Jan. 7.
