BROOKINGS COUNTY A theft involving three tractor battery chargers is being investigated by the Brookings County Sheriffs Office.
The chargers were taken from an outbuilding on 471st Avenue near 217th Street south of Brookings between Dec. 19 and 7:33 p.m. Tuesday, when the incident was reported, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring wrote in a Wednesday news release. They have a total estimated value of $560 and are described as one upright unit and two smaller, handheld units.
