BROOKINGS The Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce is offering a survey to better understand the experience of our new residents.
The information gathered will be used to shape the chamber’s new resident programming and initiatives in the coming years, with workforce retention being the end goal.
The number one issue facing our members is lack of workforce, Chamber President Kelsey Doom said in a news release. It is our hope that by understanding and improving the new resident’s experience, residents’ tenure in Brookings will increase. With every community in the nation fighting for people to fill jobs, trying new things is essential.
Anyone who moved to Brookings within the past five years is urged to participate. Residents can access the survey online at www.brookingschamber.org/NewResidentSurvey or pick up a hard copy at the Brookings Area Chamber of Commerce office. The survey will be open until February 29, 2024.
