BROOKINGS The Brookings City Council invites all community members to attend Community Office Hours on Jan. 4. The event will take place from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Kool Beans Coffee and Roasterie at 225 Main Ave. in downtown Brookings.
The come-and-go event aims to provide people a unique opportunity to connect with their local representatives in a casual and relaxed setting.
The City Council recognizes the importance of open communication and fostering a strong connection with community members. Community Office Hours events aim to break down barriers and create a welcoming space for residents and visitors to share their thoughts, concerns and ideas with their elected officials and to learn more about how to get involved in their town.
Brookings City Council members look forward to a vibrant and engaging Community Office Hours event and encourage all to attend to learn more about city initiatives and projects, engage in meaningful conversations, and connect with fellow neighbors.
