The Medary Creek Beavers held their monthly meeting in Brookings at theBrookings County Outdoor Adventure Center on Dec. 3. Members held their Christmas party with a potluck and games.
Maddisyn called the meeting to order. Claire led the flag pledge and Kinsey led the 4-H pledge. The roll call was, What is a movie that you like to watch?
Old business discussed: Shooting sports registration, shopping trip for Thanksgiving meal and Project Joy, bell ringing, and phone book delivery.
New business discussed: Food, Fun, 4-H Around the world; Festival of Trees members decorated their tree. Maddisyn Thompson was awarded the Medary Creek Beavers 4-H Member of the Year and Carli Cox was awarded the Medary Creek Beavers 4-H Outstanding New Member award for 2022-23.
Community Service and 4-H Promotion: Project Joy, bell ringing, Christmas tree decorating.
Next meeting will be Jan. 14.
