BROOKINGS The Brookings bowling team split a pair of duals with Sioux Falls Washington as the girls team defeated the Warriors 41-9 and the boys team lost 34-16 at The Lanes on Friday afternoon.
Brookings traveled to Sioux Falls Christian on Monday night and will return to action on Jan. 12 when they host Sioux Falls Roosevelt.
Girls
Brookings 41, Sioux Falls Washington 9
Alexis Hieb led the way for the Bobcats with a series score of 604. Hieb had a score of 165 in the first game before rolling a 267 in the second game before capping the afternoon with a score of 172 in the third game.
Brooklyn Hieb was right behind rolling a series score of 599 including a score of 187 in the first game, 196 in the second game and 216 in the third game.
Peyton McBride had a series score of 593 with scores of 242 in Game 1, 190 in Game 2 and 161 in Game 3.
Kacee Rhody had a series score of 537 with a score of 201 in Game 1, 178 in Game 2 and 158 in Game 3.
Haley McBride had a series score of 505 and scores of 170 in the first game, 147 in the second game and 188 in the third game.
Teagen Bremmon rounded out the varsity scoring with a series score of 499. Bremmon bowled a score of 163 in the first game, 154 in the second game and 182 in the third game.
The Bobcats are now 7-0 on the season.
Boys
Sioux Falls Washington 34, Brookings 16
Gage Craft had the top score for Brookings with a series score of 579. Craft rolled a 165 in the first game before scoring a 235 in the second game and a 179 in the third game.
Holden Austreim had a series score of 561 that was fueled by back-to-back scores of 200 in the first two games before rolling a 161 in the third game.
James Tefft had a series score of 555 with scores of 183 in the first game, 169 in the second game and 203 in the third game.
Zaiden Dicke had a series score of 546 and scored 153 in the first game, 236 in the second game and 157 in the third game.
Adrian Howard had a series score of 544. Howard had a score of 194 in the first game, 192 in the second game and 158 in the third game.
Dylan Cubelek rounded out the varsity scoring with a series score of 544. Howard rolled a 194 in the first game, 192 in the second game and 158 in the third game.
The Bobcats are now 3-4 on the season.
