BROOKINGS At 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 18, the Brookings Public Library and The Carrot Seed will host their Cookie Crawl baking competition and recipe swap.
Contestants can bring a plate of cookies and share their recipe with the crowd of taste testers. Judges from the library and the Carrot Seed will announce the Best Cookie in Brookings at the end of the night.
Registration is required for contestants. Call the library, send a Facebook message to the librarys page (@bkglib), or email [email protected] to register startingDec. 11. Registration closes Dec. 17 at noon. If you would like to be a taste tester and gather some yummy recipes, no registration is required. Just show up ready to try some treats.
