The Brookings Area United Way has reached 90 percent of its goal for its annual fundraiser.
“We’re incredibly grateful for the overwhelming support we’ve received thus far,” board president Dan Svobodny said. “The 90% mark is a tremendous milestone, but to truly make a lasting impact, we need everyone to come together and help us reach 100%.”
United Way’s annual campaign is the backbone of support for various local organizations and initiatives, providing resources to tackle challenges in education, health, and financial stability. The funds raised ensure essential services reach those who need them most, fostering a stronger and more resilient community.
