HURON The Brookings Bobcats won their first quadrangular of the season as they finished in first place in a field of four schools in Huron on Tuesday night.
The Bobcats finished in first place with a team score of 134.950 while Sioux Falls Lincoln finished in second place with 123.35 points. Huron finished third with 110.20 points and Sioux Falls Washington finished fourth with a score of 69.05.
Layla Erickson finished first in the quad with a total score of 35.5 in the all-around competition. Erickson scored a 9.350 on the vault, 8.45 on the parallel bars, an 8.150 on the balance beam and a 9.5 on the floor exercise.
Delilah Fuls came in second place for Brookings with a 34.75 score in the all-around. Fuls scored 9.350 on the vault, 9.00 on the balance beam, 8.75 on the floor exercise and 7.65 on the uneven bars.
Amber Brockberg scored 31.05 in the all-around, posting scores of 9.00 on the floor exercise, 8.5 on the vault, 8.85 on the balance beam and 6.7 on the uneven bars.
Mischa Janssen scored 30.6 in the all-around while posting scores of 8.550 in the vault, 7.45 in the balance beam, 7.4 in the uneven bars and 7.2 in the floor exercise.
Kennedy Ronning took part in three events, scoring 8.6 on the vault, 7.85 in the uneven bars and 6.750 on the balance beam.
Lexi Norgaard took part in two events, scoring 8.550 on the vault and 8.4 in floor exercise.
Ava Patterson scored a 7.65 in the uneven bars and 7.2 in the balance beam and Nevaeh Strohfus scored an 8.4 in floor exercise.
The Bobcats will have their second meet of the season in Pierre on Saturday afternoon.
