BROOKINGS – A former South Dakota State University employee accused of opening three credit cards in a coworker’s name and then racking up thousands of dollars in purchases and cash advances has pleaded guilty to two of the charges against her.
Kari Fuks, 38, pleaded guilty on Tuesday to one count each of identity theft and grand theft. In exchange, two other charges of identity theft and one count of grand theft were dismissed.
