BROOKINGS – A former South Dakota State University student accused of intentionally exposing two other students to the virus that causes AIDS has pleaded not guilty to the charges against him.
Demetrius Colaites, 19, is facing two counts of intentional exposure to HIV infection and one count of sexual contact with a person incapable of consent.
He was indicted by a Brookings County grand jury on Friday.
