ARLINGTON – In what could very easily be a preview of a Class B State Tournament matchup, the second-ranked Cardinals rallied for a five-set win over No. 4 Chester Area on Monday in Arlington.

After splitting the first two sets – 25-17 Arlington; 25-19 Chester – the Flyers dominated Set 3, 25-14, to take a 2-1 lead, but then saw the Cardinals return the favor by the same score to tie the match at 2-2.

Arlington took a 2-0 lead in the deciding set on a pair of Samantha Boeck kills, but a Cardinal net violation and a Logan Miller kill from the outside that powered through the double-block attempt tied it at 2-all.
