• Will fix Lake Sinai problems, evaluate other NRD zoning
BROOKINGS – Brookings County will remove the buffer zone around many Natural Resource Districts (NRD) within six weeks or so and re-zone existing homes as ag land, then look at whether NRD zoning should even be used by the county.
Meeting in a work session Monday, the Brookings County Commission discussed the issue at length. A number of Lake Sinai property owners were present, but work sessions do not allow for public comment unless the commission requests it.For the complete article see the 09-10-2013 issue.
