BROOKINGS – “We would like to know what’s on your mind,” David Chicoine told the Brookings City Council Tuesday.
“We cannot accomplish what we wish to without your support.”
The South Dakota State University president appeared with Provost Laurie Nichols to review the school’s “Impact 2018,” a strategic plan for the next five years, through 2018.
As expected, the SDSU leaders focused their remarks on how each of the steps will impact the larger Brookings community.
Impact 2018 sets out four key goals: promoting academic excellence through quality programs, generating new knowledge and encouraging innovation, extending the reach of the university, and increasing human and financial resources.For the complete article see the 07-17-2013 issue.
