Bullets split Junior Legion doubleheader with Watertown

BROOKINGS – After dropping the opener in a pitchers’ duel, the second game turned into a slugfest as the Brookings Bullets split a Junior Legion doubleheader with Watertown on Tuesday at Bob Shelden Field.

Post 17 won the first game, 2-0, while the Bullets walked off in the bottom of the seventh with a 4-3 win in the nightcap.

On Friday, the Bullets take on Brandon at 5:30 p.m. at Bob Shelden in the Friends of Baseball Junior Legion Wooden Bat Tournament.
