Olive C. Williams, 94, died Sunday, June 16, 2013, at the Golden Living Center in Madison.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Ellsworth Funeral Home with the Rev. Conrad Krahling officiating. Burial is in Pleasant Hill Cemtery in Winfred. Visitation will be one hour preceding the service at the funeral home.
Olive Charleen Elliott was born Dec. 23, 1918, at Winfred, to Charles and Amelia (Lillestol) Elliott. She attended a rural school at Junius before moving to Day County where she completed the eighth grade. She graduated from Orland High School and married Myron Williams on Feb. 6, 1937, at Madison. They farmed near Madison until 1943 when they moved into town. They moved to Clear Lake in 1950 and Olive was employed by the Deuel County National Bank as a proof operator for 25 years, retiring in 1984.
Survivors include a son, Bill (Carol) Williams of Omaha, Neb.; three daughters, Sharon (Pat) McMahon of San Antonio, Shirlee Flood of Sioux Falls and Sandra Leighton of Madison; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1981, a brother, Phillip Elliott, a sister, Gertrude Holler; a daughter, Bonnie Verhey, a granddaughter Kim Flowers, and a great-grandson, Zachary Leighton.
