• Group will vote on home business, beer and wine licenses, neighborhood rezoning request
BROOKINGS – A mayoral proclamation, the swearing-in of two city councilors, a couple of contract bids and six public hearings on topics ranging from neighborhood zoning to a home business to new wine and malt beverage licenses.

One of the first items of business Tuesday will be the Oath of Office ceremony for councilors Jael Thorpe and Keith Corbett. Unopposed for election this year, the two won automatic three-year extensions. They unofficially began their new three-year terms on May 1.
