Frosh split with Warriors

SIOUX FALLS – The Bobcat freshman split a pair of game with host Sioux Falls Washington on Tuesday.

The Bobcats battled back from a 5-0 deficit to win 7-6 as Sam McMacken blasted a three-run double in the top of the sixth inning to complete the comeback.

McMacken finished with three hits in the game and Elijah Mork pitched the final three innings to pick up the win in relief of Jacob Puppe.

Trevor Wallen and Zach Treiber each added a single.

In Game 2, the ‘Cats rallied to tie the game at 4-4 in the top of the fifth before surrendering a run in the bottom of the inning as they fell, 5-4.
