Judith "Judy" Hoffman, 63, a former White area resident, died Monday, April 1, 2013, at Bethany Meadows in Sioux Falls.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Johnson-Henry Funeral Chapel in Brookings with the Rev. Ron Farke officiating. Burial is in St. Francis Catholic Cemetery at Estelline. Visitation will be one hour before services on Saturday.
Judith "Judy" Hoffman was born on March 28, 1950, to Anthony and Hilda (Feldman) Hoffman at Hendricks, Minn. She grew up around White, where she attended school through the eighth grade. She then attended Sioux Vocational.
She had one brother who is now deceased. Her mother died when she was eight and her father when she was 19.
Judy cleaned houses and babysat children of family friends. Judy's favorite color was blue and she loved pizza.
She enjoyed bingo and visiting. Church was a very important part of her life and she valued Catholic Church activities.
Judy is survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nieces; cousins and a sister-in-law, Lorraine Hoffman.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, James Hoffman.
