BROOKINGS – South Dakota State earned a No. 13 seed in the NCAA men’s basketball tournament and drew fourth-seeded Michigan.
The Summit League-champion Jackrabbits (25-9) and Wolverines square off in a second-round matchup on Thursday at 6:15 p.m. at the Palace of Auburn Hills.
Michigan has a 26-7 record after finishing in a tie for fourth in the Big Ten standings with a 12-6 mark. The Wolverines won 20 of their first 21 games, including 16 in a row to open the season. They were ranked No. 1 in the Associated Press top 25 for one week.
