BROOKINGS – A master’s degree of interest to military service members and military families is being offered at South Dakota State University for the first time.
The Master of Science degree in human sciences specializes in family and community services. It provides advanced, professional education and research expertise that focuses on improving individual, family and community development.
Professor Jay Trenhaile, department head of the department of counseling and human development, and Ann Michelle Daniels, associate professor of counseling and human development, collaborated with the Great Plains Interactive Distance Education Alliance in launching the new master’s degree.
