BROOKINGS – If you’re a dollars-and-cents kind of person, this week’s Brookings City Council study session should appeal to you.

All the topics for the February gathering involve taxes, budgeting and funding.

First on the agenda is Equalization Director Joyce Dragseth, and she’ll brief the councilors on equalization hearings and the city assessment picture for 2013.
