Corbett makes it official, files his petitions

• Deputy mayor is first council candidate to file

BROOKINGS – Brookings City Council Deputy Mayor Keith Corbett has announced he will seek re-election on April 9, and he made it official last week as he filed his completed nominating petition.

To date, only Corbett has filed for one of the two council vacancies, and only Van Fishback has filed for school board. Deadline for filing is Feb. 22.
