BROOKINGS – Nate Wolters put on another dazzling performance in his final regular-season game at Frost Arena and South Dakota State took sole possession of first place in the Summit League with a 64-55 victory over Western Illinois on Saturday afternoon.
Wolters had 28 points, six assists, three steals and three rebounds.
The Jackrabbits’ all-time leader in points (2,220) and assists (617) left to a standing ovation from the capacity crowd of 6,103 – SDSU’s third sellout of the season – with 5 seconds remaining.
