BROOKINGS – The South Dakota State wrestling team wrapped up the regular season with a 39-4 setback to Northwestern on Sunday afternoon at Frost Arena.
SDSU’s Dustin Walraven notched an 8-0 major decision over Dylan Marriott at 149 pounds.
The senior from Huron dominated the first period with a takedown and a pair of two-point near falls. He was awarded a penalty point for stalling in the third and tacked on another point after holding a 4-minute, 39-second riding-time advantage to post the major decision.
