Local wrestlers fare well at Gopher Nationals

Nearly 1,100 youth wrestlers took part in the annual Gopher Nationals, held in Monticello, Minn., on Feb. 9-10. Brookings wrestlers participating include (from left): Front row – Bradyn Lohtak, Daschle Lamer, Chance Lamer and Luke Rasmussen; Back row – Brawley Lamer, Jacob Schoon and Legend Lamer. Daschle Lamer, Chance Lamer, Legend Lamer and Brawley Lamer each finished first in their respective divisions, while Schoon finished second.
