‘Cats set to battle at state meet

The Bobcats have finished in the top four at the Class AA state gymnastics meet each of the past three seasons; however, they have their work cut out to keep that streak going.

The annual event begins with the team competition on Friday at noon at Rapid City Stevens High School, followed by the individual and all-around competition on Saturday at 10:30 a.m.

“The team is looking good; they’re getting all of their stuff cleaned up and ready to go on into the state meet,” said head coach Rachelle Engbrecht. “The competition is going to be tough but we’ll be ready for it.”
