Robert Wayne Schulz, 79, died Feb. 6, 2013, at home surrounded by loved ones after a brief battle with cancer.
Visitation services are at 1 p.m. Saturday, and funeral services and Masonic services are 2:00 p.m. at the United Methodist Church in White.
Robert Wayne Schulz was born March 8, 1933, to Clarence and Thelma (Ronning) Schulz. Bob attended school in White. He served in the Navy during the Korean War.
He married Nancy Merchant on Nov. 24, 1958. He worked for his father as a salesperson at Gambles Hardware store, construction, millwright and iron worker. Bob was an active member of the Masons, American Legion, VFW, and the United Methodist Church. His hobbies were genealogical research, fishing, hunting and especially anything to do with cooking.
Bob is survived by daughters: Dawn (Loren) Gilman, Danielle Hooper and Michele Hulett; son, Robert Schulz; four granddaughters; brothers: Karl (LaDonna), Jeffrey (Darlene), John (Marsha), Charles (Linda) and Gary (Cora); sister: Mona (Chuck) Hanson; numerous nieces and nephews and special friend, Gloria Pike.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond.
