BROOKINGS – The Jackrabbits are getting closer – and better.
South Dakota State fell 22-18 to Utah Valley State in a Western Wrestling Conference dual that wasn’t decided until the final match.
The Jacks took an early 12-0 lead as Aaron Pickrel picked up a forfeit win at 125 pounds, and then, Brance Simms won by fall at 133 with a defensive pin of Chasen Tolbert just two minutes and 40 seconds into their match.
