BROOKINGS – Cultural diversity in the form of Chinese cuisine, fashion, music and dance will be the platform of South Dakota State University’s annual China Night, hosted by the Chinese Student and Scholar Association.
Individuals interested in Chinese food and culture are welcome to attend the event from 6 to 9 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 10, in the Volstorff Ballroom of the University Student Union on campus.
China Night is put on to mark the most significant celebration on the Chinese calendar, which is the Chinese New Year. The custom of Chinese New Year centers on reconciliation, peace and happiness.
