Cossacks drill Fliers, 55-25

VOLGA – Sioux Valley knocked down 12 3-pointers in the game and outscored Flandreau 24-4 in the third quarter during a 55-25 girls’ basketball victory Friday night.

The Cossacks led 8-6 after a quarter and 20-15 at halftime, before pulling away with the big third quarter. They led 44-19 entering the fourth.

Anna Keefe went 5-of-10 from 3-point range while scoring a game-high 18 points. Kaylee Granum hit four 3s for 12 points; and Carley Peterson added three 3-pointers to tally 11 points.
