Jackrabbit ties part of Sunday’s Super Bowl

BROOKINGS – Super Bowl XLVII on Sunday will feature a Jackrabbit connection.

Sure, a unique and interesting fact nationally is that for the first time in the game’s history, two brothers will face off against one another as head coaches: Jim Harbaugh of the San Francisco 49ers and John Harbaugh of the Baltimore Ravens.

From a South Dakota State University perspective, a reason to perhaps side with the 49ers is that two former Jackrabbits are on their staff: Trent Baalke and Brad Seely.
