Tony Kaiser, 57, died Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013, after a long struggle with medical issues at the St. Cloud Hospital in St. Cloud, Minn.
Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Saturday at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Henning, Minn., with the Rev. Roger Johnson officiating.
Tony Lee Kaiser was born on March 11, 1955 in Vermillion to Lyle Kaiser and Ella June (Brown) Kaiser. Tony graduated from the Wakonda High School with the class of 1973.
On July 18, 1981, Tony was married to Shirlene Cary in Brookings. They had a daughter, Theresa. On April 26, 1991, Tony married Nancy Joan Morse at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Henning, Minn. Together they made their home in Henning and they had two children, Zach and MaKenna.
Tony enjoyed gardening, farming and previously owned and operated an on-site tractor tire repair company.
To help him fulfill his love of sports he had been a basketball and football coach; which he loved. He was also a referee.
Tony was employed with Otter Tail Dairy Supply, Brogards Plumbing and Heating, and most recently enjoyed farming as he was employed at the Eckhoff Farm.
He was an avid sports fan of his children during their school events and also cheered for the Chicago Bears, New York Yankees and the Nebraska Cornhuskers.
He is survived by his wife, Nancy; two daughters, Theresa and MaKenna; son, Zach; grandson; father, Lyle; two sisters, Kimberle (Richard) and Nancy (Gary); brothers, Charles (Cindy); parents-in-law, Jim and Wilma Morse; brothers-in-law, Todd (Donna), Mike (Jodi) and David (Barbara); sisters-in-law: Anji (Shawn) and Holly (Jeff); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and a host of friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Ella June; uncle, Douglas Brown; sister-in-law, Teri Morse.
Arrangements are being provided by the Belmont Funeral Home of Henning.
