•Co-founder of green chemistry institute to speak at SDSU Feb. 6-7
BROOKINGS – Kermit the Frog laments that “It’s not easy being green.” John Warner, president and chief technology officer of Warner Babcock Institute for Green Chemistry, would agree.
Warner, one of the founders of the field of green chemistry, will be the speaker for the 21st annual Henry A. Lardy Distinguished Lecture Series in Chemistry at South Dakota State University.
He will discuss “Green Chemistry: the Missing Element” on Wednesday, Feb. 6, in the South Dakota Art Museum, Room 104, on the SDSU campus. A reception begins at 5 p.m., with the lecture at 5:30 p.m.
