BROOKINGS – Mixing military drills with hip-hop dance moves may seem conflicting, but steppers at South Dakota State University have prepared a performance that will deliver a cultural and musical experience.
Black Student Alliance members will combine with SDSU sororities and fraternities and surrounding universities – including University of Minnesota, Minneapolis; University of Minnesota, St. Paul; Creighton University; and University of Nebraska, Omaha – to put on the 10th annual Step Show.
Steppers take the stage at 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 2, in the Performing Arts Center on campus.
