RAPID CITY – Kaleb Vig hit a deep 3-pointer at the buzzer and Tyler Nagy scored 11 points over the final 5 1/2 minutes to help Brookings overcame a 10-point fourth-quarter deficit and beat Rapid City Central, 54-51, in a nonconference boys’ basketball game Saturday afternoon at Naasz Gymnasium.
The Bobcats completed a weekend sweep of the Rapid City schools, winning the two games by a combined four points.
Up 39-33 through three quarters, the Cobblers pushed the margin to 10 points – 44-34 – with just under six minutes remaining.
