BROOKINGS – Written about the Hurricane Katrina disaster of 2005, Brookings High School’s upcoming one-act play is a combination of acting, documentary and oral history.
At 7:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, in V.A. Bell Auditorium, BHS actors and actresses will present “The Katrina Project: Hell and High Water.”
“It’s a clever twist on modern theater; rather than pure entertainment, this production has both a portrayal of talent and a message of hope,” said actress Allie Kantack, a junior.
