BROOKINGS – Each year, students at South Dakota State University prepare a humorous “Saturday Night Live”-inspired variety show, known as Capers, written and produced by members of the Alpha Psi Omega fraternity.
This year’s theme, “Once Upon A Capers,” features two-and-a-half hours filled with music ranging from 80s to pop, 12 dances, 25 skits and segues featuring fairy tales intertwined with political scandal.
Performances begin at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 22, and run nightly through Friday, Jan. 25, with a 2 p.m. matinee Saturday, Jan. 26, in Doner Auditorium in the Administration Building on campus.
