BROOKINGS – The Rangers dropped their first league game of the season as the Sioux Falls Flyers beat Brookings, 4-1, in South Dakota Amateur Hockey Association action on Friday at Larson Ice Center.
The Flyers scored two goals in the first period and added single goals in the second and third periods to improve to 5-7-1 with two overtime losses.
Brookings scored its lone goal in the second period when Ashley Rennich lit the lamp off an assist by Lexi Koenig.
