DeHaven named Gatorade South Dakota Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year

CHICAGO – Brookings’ Addison DeHaven has been named the 2012-13 Gatorade South Dakota Boys Cross Country Runner of the Year, as announced Thursday.

The 5-foot-11, 130-pound junior won the Class AA state title with a time of 15 minutes, 53.8 seconds on Oct. 20 at Broadland Creek Golf Course in Huron. DeHaven, a first team All-State selection, also helped the Bobcats to a third-place finish in the team standings.
