HASTINGS, Neb. – South Dakota State wrestlers Troy Morisette and Trey Hable earned titles at the Quality Hotel Open, hosted by Hastings College on Saturday.
Morisette went 4-0 with a fall, two major decisions and a decision to win the 174-pound title. He capped his title run with a 15-5 major decision against Kearney’s Tanner Sturgeon.
Hable received a first-round bye and won a pair of matches by fall to claim the 184-pound championship. He pinned Bethany’s Matt Atwood in 1:44 in the title bout.
