Speed limit to drop on 34th Ave. So.

• County gives initial OK to 35 mph limit for 2-mile stretch

BROOKINGS – Drivers will need to slow down on a stretch of road near Daktronics, once the county lowers the speed limit there to 35 mph.

The Brookings County Commission on Tuesday OKed a first reading for the 35 mph limit, which will drop that road’s speed limit from the county’s default limit of 55 mph.
